The Malayalam mystery comedy thriller Detective Ujjwalan, starring Dhyan Sreenivasan, is now available on Lionsgate Play in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi. Released in theatres on May 23 and on Netflix in July, the film follows detective Ujjwalan and CI Shambhu Mahadev as they investigate a series of murders in the peaceful village of Plachikkavu.

While mixing comedy with mystery, it has received a moderate response for lacking typical thriller tension. IMDb rating: 6.2.
