Detective Ujjwalan OTT Release Date Fixed

Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Malayalam mystery-comedy Detective Ujjwalan is all set to begin streaming on Netflix from July 11, 2025. Directed by Indraneel Gopeekrishnan and Rahul G, and produced by Sophia Paul, the film is part of the Weekend Cinematic Universe, following Minnal Murali.

Released in theatres on May 23, the film blends mystery and satire and was shot across Palakkad, Kerala. The cast includes Siju Wilson, Rony David Raj, Kottayam Nazeer, and Seema G Nair.

"The film’s music is composed by Rzee, while visuals and editing were crafted by Prem Akkattu, Sraiyanti, and editor Chaman Chakko."

With this release, Netflix adds another strong regional title to its Malayalam content lineup.
