Sony LIV is set to debut its first Malayalam original series, Jai Mahendran, on October 11. Starring Saiju Kurup, the show delves into power, ambition, and bureaucracy, blending humor with drama. Kurup plays Mahendran, a man skilled in manipulating the system to his advantage until the tables turn, forcing him to fight for his lost power.

Directed by Srikanth Mohan and produced by First Print Studios, the series boasts an impressive cast, including Suhasini Maniratnam, Miya George, and Suresh Krishna. Rahul Riji Nair, the showrunner and writer, promises sharp dialogues and dynamic characters. Saiju Kurup expressed his joy in playing Mahendran and praised the chemistry with the cast, especially Suhasini.
