Joju George's Pani Now Streaming On Sony LIV

Joju George's directorial debut Pani, a revenge thriller, is now streaming a day earlier than expected. Initially set to release on January 16, the film was made available on Sony LIV by the evening of January 15.

Pani is streaming in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. This release marks Sony LIV’s first Malayalam film on the platform, following its previous release of Bougainvillea in December. 

The movie tells the story of two young mechanics from Thrissur, played by Sagar Surya and Junaiz VP, who get caught in a dangerous game of crime after a failed mission. They clash with Giri, a powerful gang leader, leading to a violent and intense cycle of revenge. Joju George’s portrayal of Giri adds depth to the film, complemented by strong performances from the supporting cast, including Abhinaya, Bobby Kurian, and Chandini Sreedharan.

With its gripping pace, intense action, and excellent cinematography, Pani keeps the audience engaged. The film performed well at the box office, grossing nearly Rs 33 Cr.
