Maharani, starring Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko, is a Malayalam comedy-drama that hit theatres in November 2023 but didn’t fare well at the box office. Nearly 1.5 years later, it has finally made its OTT debut. You can now stream it on Manorama MAX.

Plot and Cast

Set in Kinassery village in Kerala’s Alleppey district, the film explores a conflict between two families that escalates into a village riot. The cast includes Roshan Mathew as Vijeesh (Viji), Shine Tom Chacko as Ajeesh (Aji), Johny Antony, Harisree Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Sruthy Jayan, Nisha Sarang, and Sminu Sijo.

Maharani is written by Ratheesh Ravi, directed by G Marthandan, and produced by Sujit Balan under SB Films and Badusha Productions.
