Meera Jasmine’s Malayalam romantic comedy-drama  Paalum Pazhavum is set to release on the Saina Play OTT platform. Directed by National Award-winning director VK Prakash, the film will be streaming soon, with the release date to be announced shortly.

This movie follows the story of Sumi (Meera Jasmine), a 33-year-old woman who is pressured by family responsibilities and remains single. She meets Sunil (Ashwin Jose), a man 10 years younger than her, and they fall in love through social media. Their decision to marry faces societal and familial opposition, as their relationship challenges norms. The film blends romance with a social message, highlighting misconceptions about marriage.

Released in theaters in August 2024, Paalum Pazhavum was well-received and now makes its way to OTT four months later. While Amazon Prime and Manorama Max initially acquired streaming rights, the movie will debut on Saina Play. The film’s music, composed by Gopi Sundar, adds to its charm.

Meera Jasmine, a popular actress in both Malayalam and Telugu cinema, is making a strong comeback with this film after a break from the industry. She continues to work in both languages, including the Tamil movie The Test.
