Padakkalam, a Malayalam fantasy comedy directed by debutant Manu Swaraj, is now streaming on JioHotstar in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam. Released on May 9, the film features Sooraj Venjaramoodu, Sharafuddin, and Sandeep Pradeep in lead roles.

The story follows four college boys obsessed with comic books who get caught in a supernatural adventure triggered by a professor. While the film offers clean campus comedy and supernatural elements, it received mixed reviews due to its weak story. Made on a ₹10 crore budget, it grossed ₹18 crore and may still appeal to OTT audiences.
