Painkili Movie Streaming On Manorama MAX

Painkili, a Malayalam family drama starring Sajin Gopu and Anaswara Rajan, is set for its OTT debut on Manorama MAX by the end of March 2025, following a theatrical release on February 14, 2025. The film, which earned Rs 3.96 crore at the box office, received mixed-to-positive reviews.

The story centers on Suku, a man who feigns insanity to escape legal trouble and is committed to a mental institution. There, he meets Asha, a compassionate nurse, and falls in love with her. Meanwhile, Sheeba, another resident pressured by her family to marry, ends up in the same institution, where she crosses paths with Suku. Together, they navigate their struggles, leading to both humorous and heartfelt moments.

Directed by debutant Sreejith Babu, Painkili also stars Jisma Vimal, Roshan Shanavas, and others. The film's music is by Justin Varghese, and it is produced by Fahadh Faasil under the Urban Animal banner. The film rating is 3 out of 5, describing it as an entertaining but unconventional love story.
