Mohanlal's latest Malayalam crime thriller Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy, is receiving praise for its gripping story. The film follows taxi driver Benz Shanmugham, whose life changes after his beloved black Ambassador car is seized by police in a smuggling case. Thudarum is expected to premiere on JioCinema/Hotstar around mid-June, 30-45 days after its theatrical release. At the box office, it has grossed ₹100.92 crore in 18 days, becoming the third-highest grossing Malayalam film globally.
