A spine-chilling Malayalam horror thriller, Vadakkan, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Released in theaters on March 7, it received positive reviews and has now premiered digitally on May 9. The film earned an 8.5 IMDb rating and entered Prime Video’s top 10 trending list on its first OTT day.

Starring Kishore, and directed by Sajid, who co-wrote it with Unni R, Vadakkan is a 1 hour 50 minutes long supernatural thriller set on an island in Kerala.A paranormal investigator from Helsinki comes to shoot a reality show, but soon discovers a string of eerie murders.The story explores whether he and the team survive the sinister forces.

Vadakkan, meaning “one from the north,” draws inspiration from northern Kerala folklore and is available in Malayalam with English subtitles.
