Indian 3, the third installment of Kamal Haasan's popular franchise, is set for a direct-to-digital premiere. Initially planned as a two-part series, the second part of the film turned into a 6-hour project, leading the makers to split it into two. According to IMDb and Wikipedia, Indian 3: War Mode will stream on Netflix starting January 24, 2025, although an official confirmation is still awaited.

Alongside Kamal Haasan, Indian 3 features a strong ensemble cast, including Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, Jagan, and others. The film also includes posthumous appearances by Vivek and Nedumudi Venu, with scenes being body-doubled by Kovai Babu and Nandu Poduval.

Directed by S. Shankar, who co-wrote the script with B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar, Indian 3 is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin under Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The film follows Indian 2 and was shot alongside it, with some scenes of Indian 3 reshot following the mixed reception of the second part. The decision to release Indian 3 directly on streaming was influenced by the underwhelming performance of Indian 2.
