Mugen Rao’s film Jinn The Pet will premiere on Sun NXT on June 20, after its theatrical release on May 30. Directed by TR Bala, the film received mixed reviews. Mugen plays Sakthi, who brings home a jinn spirit as a lucky charm, only to face chaos when it’s unleashed.

A review from CE noted the film’s tonal inconsistency and predictable ending. The cast includes Bhavya Trikha, Balasaravanan, Imaan Annachi, and others, with technical work by Arjun Raja (DOP), Deepak D (editor), and Vivek-Mervin (music).
