Suriya's Kanguva, which was released on November 14, has struggled at the box office, underperforming despite a hefty Rs 300 crore budget. The film, initially set for an OTT release eight weeks after its theatrical debut, may now stream in just four weeks due to poor earnings. On its 10th day, Kanguva earned only Rs 1.15 crore, bringing its total to Rs 66.15 crore—far below expectations.

Directed by Siva, the fantasy action film features Suriya in dual roles, with Bobby Deol as the antagonist. Despite the box office setback, Suriya has upcoming projects, including Suriya 44 and a possible Bollywood film Karna.
