The Tamil film Lubber Pandhu, featuring Harish Kalyan and Dinesh, has unexpectedly thrived at the box office, earning around ₹33 crores in Tamil Nadu and proving to be a blockbuster. Despite competing with the major release of Vettaiyan, it maintained a strong presence in theaters.

According to industry buzz, Lubber Pandhu is set to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar starting October 18, with an official announcement expected soon. Directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the film also stars Swastika, Sanjana, Kaali Venkat, Devadarshini, and Bala Saravanan, and is produced by S. Lakshman Kumar and A. Venkatesh under the Prince Pictures banner, with music by Sean Roldan.
