South Indian star heroines Meera Jasmine and Nayanthara have acted in the film The Test. This movie marks the directorial debut of producer Sashikanth. Madhavan and Siddharth played the lead roles. The film is a sports drama that revolves around how an international test cricket match in Chennai impacts the lives of three individuals. It has been produced under the YNOT Studios banner.

This movie is set for a direct OTT release. Recently, the popular streaming platform Netflix confirmed this news. Sharing photos of Meera Jasmine, Netflix officially revealed the streaming date. The film will be available for streaming from April 4. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, as announced via Twitter.

Once a star heroine, Meera Jasmine is well known to Telugu audiences. She gained recognition in Tollywood with Ravi Teja's Bhadra. She later acted in several Telugu super hits, including Gudumba Shankar, Raraju, Aakasa Ramanna, Gorintaku, Bangaru Babu, and Maharathi.
