The OTT release platform for Nandhan has been confirmed. The movie stars Sasikumar in the lead role and is a Tamil drama that was initially released in theaters in September 2024. It made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video, but now the movie is set to release on a different OTT platform. Nandhan will be available soon on Aha. On November 6th, 2024, the streaming platform shared a poster on X (formerly Twitter), announcing, “Varugiraar #Nandhan viraivil. Nandan coming soon to namma Aha Tamil.”

According to Filmibeat, the film, set in the village of Vanangankudi, centers around a power struggle between the marginalized Scheduled Caste group and the dominant ruling caste. Koppulingam, a member of the dominant caste, holds his position of authority through fear and manipulation. However, Koozhpaana, a member of the Scheduled Caste, rises as a symbol of resistance, overcoming numerous obstacles to ensure his people receive justice.

Era Saravanan is the director of the Tamil family drama film Nandhan. In addition to Sasikumar and Sruthi Periyasamy in the lead roles, the film features supporting performances by Mathesh, Mithun, Balaji Sakthivel, Katta Erumbu Stalin, Samuthirakani, V Gnanavelu, G M Kumar, Sithan Mohan, Sakthi Saravanan, and others. The film’s cinematography was done by R. V. Saran, editing by Nelson Anthony, and the music was composed by Ghibran Vaibodha.
