Netflix has announced the premiere date for Test, a sports drama starring Madhavan, Siddharth, and Nayanthara, set to release on April 4. The film marks the directorial debut of Sashikanth, producer of YNOT Studios, and features Meera Jasmine in a lead role. The film follows two couples: Siddharth and Meera, an aspiring cricketer couple, and Madhavan and Nayanthara, who come from a middle-class background.

The film's official synopsis highlights a game where personal stakes are high and every decision counts. The test will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Shakthishree Gopalan debuts as the music director, with a technical crew including editor TS Suresh and cinematographer Viraj Sinh Gohil.
