Rajinikanth's film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video in 6 to 8 weeks after its theatrical run, with digital rights acquired for approximately Rs 65 crore. The film grossed over Rs 31 crore on its opening day and about Rs 70 crore globally. It features Rajinikanth as Police Superintendent Athiyan and boasts a star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil. The production budget was around Rs 300 crore, with music by Anirudh Ravichander and distribution by Red Giant Movies.
