Retta Thala, starring Arun Vijay, has made its digital debut after its theatrical run. The Tamil action thriller, which released in cinemas on December 25, is now available for streaming on Prime Video, giving audiences another chance to watch the film from home.

Written and directed by Kris Thirukumaran, Retta Thala features Arun Vijay in a dual role, portraying Kaali and Malpe Upendra. The film explores themes of identity, ambition, and greed, with the narrative driven by the contrasting lives of its two central characters.

Kaali is a street dweller in Pondicherry who longs for wealth and respect. Encouraged by his girlfriend Antre, who strongly believes money defines success, Kaali takes risks in pursuit of a better life. His world changes dramatically when he encounters his wealthy and powerful lookalike, Malpe Upendra. What follows is a chain of decisions that push Kaali into a morally complex journey filled with action, confrontations, and emotional stakes. The story examines how a single choice can alter the course of an entire life.

Apart from Arun Vijay, the film stars Siddhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandran, Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss in key roles. Music is composed by Sam CS, with cinematography by Tijo Tomy and editing handled by Anthony.
