Sci-Fi Thriller OTT: Kadaisi Uthala Por (Last World War)

Last World War, also known as Kadaisi Uthala Por in Tamil, is a sci-fi thriller now streaming on Amazon Prime. Directed and produced by Hip Hop Tamil, who also stars in the lead role, the film explores a fictional third world war in 2028, where a new alliance of countries, the Republic, challenges the United Nations. Tamil (Hip Hop Tamil) and his gang defend the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister (Nazar) against a Republic conspiracy.

Despite high expectations, the film, made on a 15-crore budget, grossed only 10 crores, failing to make an impact. The movie features 11 songs by Hip Hop Tamil, known for his music in films like Dhruva and A1 Express. While the production quality and acting were noted, the confusing plot and weak execution led to a mixed reception.
