Sorgavaasal OTT Release Date Announced

After a brief theatrical run, RJ Balaji’s latest film, Sorgavaasal, is set for its OTT debut. Directed by debutant Sidharth Vishwanath, a former assistant to filmmaker Pa Ranjith, the film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting December 27.

Released on November 29, Sorgavaasal follows RJ Balaji’s character, who is wrongfully imprisoned. During his time in jail, he interacts with various inmates and questions the true purpose of reform in such institutions. While the film received mixed reviews, it features an ensemble cast including Saniya Iyappan, Selvaraghavan, Karunas, Natty, and more.

The film’s technical team includes music by Christo Xavier, cinematography by Prince Anderson, and editing by Selva RK. Sorgavaasal is produced by Think Studios and Swipe Right Studio.
