Made on a modest ₹8 crore budget, the Tamil film Tourist Family has become a blockbuster, grossing over ₹83 crore worldwide and earning an impressive 8.6 IMDb rating. Despite having no big stars or heavy promotions, the emotional family comedy struck a chord with audiences and became a massive hit.

Released in theatres on May 1, the film received praise from celebs like Rajinikanth, SS Rajamouli, and Nani. Directed by Abhishan and starring Sasikumar and Simran, with support from Yogi Babu and MS Bhaskar, the film continues to draw crowds.
