"Vettaiyan," a Tamil action drama directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, stars Rajinikanth alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and others. The film premiered globally on October 10, 2024, coinciding with the Vijayadasami festival.

Prime Video has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights for "Vettaiyan." The official release date on the platform will be announced soon.

Initially titled Thalaivar 170, the film's production began in October 2023 and concluded in August 2024, with shooting locations across various Indian cities. The film features a strong cast, with Rajinikanth as SP Ajith Kumaran IPS and Bachchan as DGP Sathyadev Bramhadutt Pande. Directed by Gnanavel, the film also includes music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by S. R. Kathir.
