Kollywood star hero Vijay Sethupathi's latest movie, Viduthalai 2, directed by Vetrimaaran, has received widespread success. A sequel to last year's Viduthalai, the film has garnered praise from both audiences and critics. Released on December 20, the movie has received positive reviews, but it didn't perform well commercially in terms of box office collections. However, Vijay Sethupathi impressed once again with his stellar performance, and the movie features key roles played by Manju Warrier, Bhavani Sree, Kishore, Gautham Menon, Suri, and Rajeev Menon. Vijay Sethupathi, particularly as Perumal Vaathiyaar, and Suri as Constable Kumareshan, were highly praised.

So far, the movie has grossed over ₹50.36 crore worldwide. Despite positive reviews, the film has not been able to achieve the expected box office success. It didn’t perform at the level anticipated by the filmmakers. However, there is growing buzz on social media regarding its upcoming OTT release.

Viduthalai 2 has been acquired by the popular OTT platform ZEE5 for digital streaming. The movie is expected to stream from January 17 next year, in both Tamil and Telugu languages, according to the latest reports.
