Despite being backed by GA2 Pictures under the Geetha Arts banner, the film will not stream on the homegrown platform Aha, owned by Allu Aravind. Directed and written by Kanchipally Anji Babu, Aay also features Ankith Koyya, Krishna Chaitanya, and Nayan Sarika. Despite competition from Mr Bachchan and Double Ismart, the film has been a commercial hit.

In a previous interview, Nithiin expressed gratitude to Geetha Arts and producer Bunny Vas for their support. He also mentioned that his brother-in-law Jr NTR praised the film’s promo, predicting its success with proper promotion. The film’s music, composed by Ram Miryala, has been well-received.

Currently, Nithiin is working on Sri Sri Sri Raja Vaaru, directed by Satish Vegesna. Although initially intended as Nithiin’s debut film, it has faced delays and is now set to release during the Dasara festive season. Sri Vedaakshara Movies is producing the film.
