A new Telugu thriller Chaurya Paatam has quietly released on OTT from midnight, May 16, just 20 days after its theatrical release. Though it had no big stars, the film impressed audiences with its gripping story, screenplay, and unexpected twists.

The plot follows a hero who dreams of becoming a director but, lacking producers, plans a bank robbery to fund his film. He involves two partners, Bablu and Jack Don, and a bank employee, Anjalisayam, to dig a tunnel from a nearby school to steal money. The story unfolds with suspense over why villagers turn hostile.

Starring Indraram and Payal Radhakrishna, with key roles by Mast Ali, Rajeev Kanakala, and villain Supriya Aisola, the film is written by Karthik Ghattameni and produced by Trinadharao Nakkina. Directed by Nikhil, this crime comedy thriller is currently streaming on Amazon Prime for overseas viewers, with a wider release expected soon.
