Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna’s action thriller Coolie premiered today, drawing massive crowds, with ticket sales in advance crossing the Rs 100 crore mark. Amazon Prime Video has acquired its digital rights, expected to stream after the theatrical run in late September.

Marking 50 years of Rajinikanth’s career, the film features him as Devaraj/Deva alongside Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and others. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran, the Rs 350–400 crore action thriller runs 170 minutes and was released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi, clashing with Hrithik Roshan’s War 2.
