The film Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, is preparing for its digital premiere following a successful theatrical run. Directed by Sanil Deo, the film also features Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role.

Presented by Annapurna Studios, Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Sunil Narang. The film was released worldwide on April 10 and received a positive response from audiences.

With its theatrical run now concluded, attention has shifted to its OTT release. According to circulating reports, Dacoit is expected to stream on Netflix starting May 8. The film is likely to be available in multiple Indian languages, though an official confirmation is still awaited.

The narrative follows Hari (Adivi Sesh), an orphan whose life takes a tragic turn. Juliet, also known as Saraswati, a medical professional from a wealthy background, falls in love with him. However, unforeseen circumstances lead to Hari being falsely accused and imprisoned for serious crimes, including rape and murder.

Meanwhile, Saraswati moves on with her life, losing connection with her past. She marries and starts a family. Driven by betrayal and injustice, Hari escapes from prison with the intention of seeking revenge against Saraswati, whom he believes wronged him.

What follows is a gripping tale of vengeance, emotional conflict, and unresolved love. Whether Hari ultimately chooses revenge or forgiveness—and how he evades the authorities forms the crux of the story.
