The film, produced by Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthvi Yadav under Big Hit Productions, has garnered praise from both critics and audiences. Dhruva expressed his confidence in the film’s success during a pre-release event in Hyderabad, stating, “I have made Kalinga with a lot of hard work. Everyone who enters the theatre will not be disappointed.” He highlighted the performances, visuals, and the role of Preeti Sundar Kumar, as well as actor Sanjay Krishna’s standout performance as the main villain.

In addition to Kalinga, Dhruva is set to work on the film Hangman, directed by Vihaan and featuring a cast that includes Rama Rao Jadhav, Brahmaji, Bunny Abiran, and others. The filming for Hangman has been completed, with a 2024 release expected. Dhruva has also appeared in films such as Kerosene, Check, The Ghazi Attack, and Pelli Choopulu, and he was involved in writing and directing Kerosene.
