Early OTT Release for 'Double iSmart'?

Ram Pothineni's latest action film, 'Double iSmart,' directed by Puri Jagannadh, premiered on August 25 across five languages. As a sequel to 'iSmart Shankar,' the film stars Kavya Thapar as the female lead and Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, Big Bull.

Early OTT Release

Despite its high expectations, 'Double iSmart' underperformed at the box office. Amazon Prime Video has acquired its streaming rights for Rs 33 Crore, with the film set to stream six weeks post-theatrical release. The expected OTT release date is September 27.

Ram Pothineni plays Ustaad iSmart Shankar and Arun, with Sanjay Dutt as Big Bull. The film also features Kavya Thapar, Sayaji Shinde, and others. Mani Sharma composed the music, with Junaid Siddiqui as editor and Gianni Giannelli and Shyam K. Naidu handling the cinematography.
