Manchu Vishnu announced on X that his film Kannappa will begin streaming on Prime Video from September 4. The movie stars Vishnu in the lead, with cameo appearances from Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar. 

With Mohan Babu producing and Mukesh Kumar Singh at the helm as director, Vishnu himself has penned the film’s story and screenplay.

Originally released in theaters on June 27, Kannappa portrays the life of Tinnadu, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Prabhas appears as Rudra, Mohanlal as Kirata, and Akshay Kumar as Shiva, with the film’s final 40 minutes and Vishnu’s performance receiving particular acclaim.
