Kuberaa is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video within just four weeks of its theatrical release, reportedly around the same time as Hari Hara Veeramallu. The film, which opened to strong reviews and is nearing the ₹100 crore mark, had its digital rights sold for ₹45 crore. Though the makers considered postponing the release due to unfinished post-production, Amazon Prime insisted on the original schedule, even threatening a ₹10 crore penalty if delayed, according to producer Sunil Naran.

Analysts believe this early OTT arrival is impacting theatrical runs. If audiences knew there would be at least an 8-week gap, they might choose to watch films in theatres. However, with a shorter window, many prefer to wait and stream the film at home instead.
