Initially slated for release on Prime Video on August 26, Manamey's OTT debut was abruptly postponed due to unexpected issues. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad filed a fraud complaint, alleging that a company entrusted with securing the OTT deal deceived him, leading to significant financial losses. This situation caused an indefinite delay, but the film is now set to premiere on Sony LIV, resolving the earlier challenges.

Released in theatres on June 7, 2024, Manamey received mixed critical feedback but resonated with audiences, becoming a commercial success. Directed by Sriram Adittya and produced by Ramsey Studios Production, the film stars Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in lead roles.
