Several new movies are set to release on OTT this weekend. However, leaving those aside, a Telugu movie has quietly made its way to streaming nearly six months after its theatrical release. So, which movie is this? Let’s find out.

There have already been multiple films based on the life of freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju. Among them, the 1974 film Alluri Sitarama Raju, starring Superstar Krishna, is considered an evergreen classic. More recently, Ram Charan appeared in an Alluri-inspired look in RRR and impressed audiences.

A Telugu movie titled Manyam Dheerudu, based on Alluri’s life, was released in theaters last September. However, it went largely unnoticed and disappeared quickly. Actor R.V.V. Satyanarayana not only played the role of Alluri but also produced the film. Now, after nearly six months, Manyam Dheerudu has arrived on Amazon Prime Video, though it is available only on a rental basis. Just two days ago, the movies Tala and Jathara were also released on the same OTT platform.
