Matka Movie OTT Release Date Fix

The movie "Matka," starring Varun Tej and directed by Karuna Kumar, is set to stream on OTT. The film, which has Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, was released on November 14 and received mixed reactions. Now, the film is all set to make its OTT debut. It will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from December 5.

The story follows Vasu (played by Varun Tej), a young man who comes to Visakhapatnam as a refugee from Burma. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he ends up committing a murder and is sent to jail at a young age. There, the jail warden Narayana Murthy (Ravishankar) transforms him into a fighter for his personal gain. After being released from prison, Vasu arrives at the Purnam Market in search of work, where he gets a job with the coconut vendor Appalareddy (Ajay Ghosh). A conflict occurs, and Vasu defeats the rowdy gang of K.B. Reddy (John Vijay) and gets closer to his rival Nani Babu (Kishore). With Nani Babu’s support, Vasu rises to become a leader in the market.

As his journey unfolds, Vasu initially intends to set up a clothing business but ends up getting involved in the Matka gambling game. He eventually rises to become a Matka king. The story also follows his challenges, including the involvement of the CBI to capture him by the central government. The roles of Sujata (Meenakshi Chaudhary), Sophia (Nora Fatehi), and Sahu (Naveen Chandra) are pivotal to the plot. The rest of the story explores what happens next in Vasu's journey.
