Anupama Parameswaran’s social drama Paradha quietly premiered on Amazon Prime Video from September 12, less than a month after its August 22 theatrical release. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the film explores Tradition vs. Modernity in the fictional village of Padati, where women must wear a purdah.

The story follows Subbu (Anupama), whose photo sparks controversy, leading her to Dharamshala to clear her name and uncover the village’s secrets with Ratna (Sangeetha) and Amishtha (Darshana Rajendran).

Combining tradition with a social message, Paradha is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video for those who missed it in theaters.
