Victory Venkatesh's latest film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, has achieved remarkable success, grossing Rs 77 crores in just two days, positioning it as one of his highest-grossing films. With consistent box-office collections, fans are now eagerly awaiting the film's OTT release.

Zee has acquired the satellite and post-theatrical streaming rights for the film, reportedly paying Rs 27 crores. The film is expected to release on the digital platform four weeks after its theatrical debut.

The plot centers around Yadagiri Damodhar Raju (Venkatesh), a retired police officer living peacefully with his wife, Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh). Their life is turned upside down when tech entrepreneur Satya Akella (Srinivas Avasarala) is kidnapped. The Chief Minister assigns Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary), Raju's ex-girlfriend, to lead the rescue mission, adding an emotional twist to the gripping narrative.
