Actor Aadi Sai Kumar headlines the mystical thriller Shambhala, which made its theatrical debut in December 2025. Following its run in cinemas, the makers have now locked the digital premiere date. The film will begin streaming on the OTT platform Aha starting on the 22nd of this month. According to an official announcement shared on social media, viewers with an Aha Gold subscription will get early access and can watch the film one day ahead of its general release. The movie is directed by Yugandhar Muni, with Archana Iyer playing the lead female role.

Set against the backdrop of the 1980s, the narrative unfolds in Shambhala, an ancient town that carries a legacy spanning over a thousand years. The calm of the village is shattered when a mysterious meteor crashes from the sky. Soon after, a series of strange and disturbing incidents begin to occur. A resident suddenly starts behaving unusually and ends their life, sending waves of fear through the community. The villagers believe the fallen rock has brought destruction, and superstition starts to dominate their thinking.

As fear spreads, the government steps in and appoints a young scientist named Vikram, portrayed by Aadi Sai Kumar, to investigate the unexplained happenings. Rooted firmly in logic and scientific reasoning, Vikram arrives in the village to uncover the truth behind the incidents. As the story progresses, questions arise about whether he can solve the mystery using science alone. Who is Devi, played by Archana Iyer, who mysteriously appears in Shambhala? The film ultimately explores the clash between Vikram’s scientific outlook and the ancient beliefs and historical secrets tied to the town.
