Young Tollywood hero Sharwanand has been struggling to deliver a hit for a long time. After the success of Shatamanam Bhavati, he couldn't achieve a blockbuster at that level again. Despite acting in multiple films, he failed to secure consistent successes. His recent film Oke Oka Jeevitham received decent reviews, but after that, he faced back-to-back flops. However, he continued working on films without a break. Nearly a year ago, he starred in Manamey, but it turned out to be a disappointment. Surprisingly, the film did not get an OTT release even after a year, leaving audiences disappointed. Now, finally, Manamey is set to premiere on an OTT platform.

This romantic comedy entertainer failed to impress audiences in theaters. Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film featured Kriti Shetty as the female lead alongside Sharwanand. Released in June last year with high expectations, the movie failed to meet them. As a result, many people even forgot about it. Now, the makers have officially announced its OTT release.

Amazon Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights for this romantic comedy. Reports suggest that the film will start streaming on March 7, with an official announcement expected soon. Sharwanand impressed with his comedy timing, and his chemistry with Kriti Shetty worked well, but the routine storyline failed to engage the audience. Music was composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The movie’s OTT release was delayed due to a dispute over digital rights, but now that the issue has been resolved, Manamey will finally be available for streaming.
