Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s much-awaited love saga, Thandel, will be released theatrically on February 7. The film has generated strong pre-release buzz, with popular songs and a captivating trailer.

It has been confirmed that Netflix acquired the OTT rights for Thandel for a significant price. Director Chandoo Mondeti revealed that the film, made with a budget of around Rs 90 crores, has already recovered Rs 65 crores from the OTT deal. The movie will stream on Netflix 50 days after its theatrical release, likely in the last week of March.

Inspired by real events from 2018, Thandel explores themes of separation and patriotism. Naga Chaitanya plays Raju, a fisherman from Srikakulam. The film, produced by Bunny Vas and presented by Allu Aravind, features a soulful soundtrack by Devi Sri Prasad.
