Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is set for release on February 7, 2025, and has already crossed into the profit zone thanks to a massive OTT deal. The film, with a production budget of ₹60 crore, has had its digital rights sold to Netflix for ₹45 crore, covering nearly 80% of the budget. Additionally, satellite, music, and other rights have earned over ₹55 crore, putting the producers in a safe financial position.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel follows Naga Chaitanya as a fisherman who is imprisoned in Pakistan after accidentally crossing into its waters. The chemistry between Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, along with the success of the film's two hit songs, has created significant buzz. With strong box office expectations and a promising release date avoiding Sankranthi competition, the makers are optimistic about its success.
