The release date for the animated film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama has been confirmed

Even though ages and generations change, the story of the Ramayana remains timeless and fresh. No matter how many times this epic has been portrayed on screen, audiences always find something new in it. Now, this story is set to appear in an animated form. The animated film titled “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama” is ready and will be released on January 24 in theaters.

“Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama” will be released in four languages: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English, in a 4K version. Initially, the film was scheduled to be released in October of last year, but due to some incomplete work, the release was delayed. Geek Pictures India and AA Films have jointly produced this film. Directed by Ram Mohan and Yugo Sako, the animated film is written by Vijayendra Prasad. The film is based on the Ramayana written by Valmiki, and its trailer will be released on January 10.

In 1993, the animated film “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama” was created and showcased at the 24th International Film Festival of India. However, due to some reasons, it was not released in theaters at that time. In 2000, it was broadcast on television, where it gained popularity. Now, after all these years, a 4K version of the film is being prepared and will be brought to audiences.
