The film Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes, starring comedian Vennela Kishore in a pivotal role and directed by writer Mohan, was released as a Christmas gift to the audience. The movie is now ready to entertain viewers on OTT. It will be available for streaming on the Telugu OTT platform ETV Win starting January 24. Announcing this, the platform mentioned, “Get ready to unravel the mystery. Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes is ready for streaming on ETV Win.”

The story is set on May 21, 1991, when former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in a human bomb attack in Perambudur after completing his political tour in North Andhra. To prevent any riots in the North Andhra region, the CI Bhaskar (played by Aneesh Kuruvilla) takes charge. That same night, a call is received at the police station regarding the murder of a young woman named Pulidandi Mary at Bheemanili Beach. Pressured by a journalist about the case, Bhaskar challenges to solve it within a week, or else he will resign from his post. However, at the same time, he is also handling the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, and thus, he hands over the murder case to the private detective, Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes (Vennela Kishore).

As soon as Sherlock takes up the murder case of Mary, he identifies several suspects including her lovers Baloo (Raviteja), Brahma (Ananya Nagalla), suspended SI Patnaik (Bahubali Prabhakar), and three other criminals. The film unfolds as Sherlock investigates who among them committed the murder of Mary and the motives behind it. The audience will have to watch the film to find out whether Sherlock solves the case within the week, the challenges he faces, and the eventual resolution.
