Pixar’s latest sci-fi adventure comedy Elio is now streaming on JioHotstar. Directed by Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi, and Adrian Molina, the film follows a boy who mistakenly becomes Earth’s intergalactic ambassador after sending a signal to aliens.

Written by Julia Cho, Mark Hammer, and Mike Jones, Elio features the voices of Yonas Kibreab, Zoe Saldana, Young Dylan, Matthias Schweighofer, and Jameela Jamil.

Announced in 2022, the project faced delays and creative changes. Released in June, it drew mixed reviews and fell short at the box office, with critics praising its visuals but calling it emotionally underwhelming.
