Forever Netflix Release: A Heartfelt Teen Romance Series

Netflix is gearing up to release Forever, a teen romance series inspired by Judy Blume’s 1975 classic novel, on May 8, 2025. The story is reimagined in 2018 Los Angeles, following young athletes Keisha Clark and Justin Edwards as they fall in love and navigate adolescence, family, and identity.

Created by Mara Brock Akil and featuring Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr., the series explores modern issues faced by Black teens. With Regina King serving as both director and executive producer, Forever promises to offer a deeply emotional, coming-of-age journey for Netflix viewers worldwide.
