The highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to hit theaters on December 5, 2024. Following its theatrical release, the film will stream on Netflix, with its OTT rights already secured. Netflix previously teased the release, confirming that Pushpa 2 will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi after its cinema run.

The sequel continues the story of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler, and delves deeper into his rivalry with Shikhawat (played by Fahadh Faasil), as well as his relationship with Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna). Directed by Sukumar, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and features a star-studded cast including Ajay Ghosh, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Devi Sri Prasad returns to compose the music, with Miroslaw Kuba Brozek handling the cinematography and Navin Nooli editing.
