Rana Naidu Season 2 Review

Rana Naidu Season 2

Rating: 3/5

Platform: Netflix | 8 Episodes | Hindi

Starring: Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Arjun Rampal, Surveen Chawla, Dino Morea, Abhishek Banerjee

Directors: Karan Anshuman, Suparn Verma, Abhay Chopra

Rana Naidu Season 2 begins with Naga's quieter life in Goa, but violence resurfaces as he reunites with Rana. With reduced violence, sex, and profanity, the series loses its original grit. Rana’s journey to rescue his kidnapped son, face new enemies, and navigate strained relationships unfolds alongside emotional subplots—Jaffa’s healing and Tej’s heartbreak.

Though the performances shine, especially by Rana, Venkatesh, and Arjun Rampal, the toned-down approach makes the story feel predictable and less impactful. Strong female roles add freshness, but the season lacks the intensity of the first. Hopefully, Season 3 brings back the edge.
