Jinn Movie Review: Story, Performances, Horror Elements and Verdict

Do they manage to escape in the end? These questions form the core of the story of Jinn.

How is the film?

The first half mainly focuses on the four friends, their playful behavior, and typical college life moments. As the story progresses, they slowly become aware of the serious threat surrounding them. The interval introduces a minor but interesting twist. In the second half, the character Jin is revealed, along with a police investigation and the presence of supernatural forces within the college premises. Both the pre-climax and climax are handled effectively.

Amit Rao delivers a strong performance, while Parvez Simba also does justice to his role. The group of friends, the police character, and the supporting cast suit their parts well. From a technical perspective, the film stands out. Sunil’s cinematography and Alex’s background music enhance the overall viewing experience. The filmmakers succeed in balancing humor with horror elements. The production quality is also commendable.
