Test Movie Review

R Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth shine in this Tamil sports drama. The story follows three characters—an ambitious cricketer, a teacher desiring motherhood, and a failed scientist—whose lives intersect during a life-changing event.

Plot: Saravanan (R Madhavan), a scientist, and Kumudha (Nayanthara), a teacher trying for IVF, face personal struggles. Arjun (Siddharth), a cricketer, battles retirement and aims to prove himself in an India-Pakistan Test match. Their lives collide in a dramatic turn of events.

Review: The first half is slow, but the second half picks up. Madhavan delivers a standout performance, while Nayanthara and Siddharth impress. Meera Jasmine makes a strong impact despite limited screen time.

What Doesn’t Work: The songs don’t add much to the intensity, but the background score enhances the storytelling.

Verdict: With strong performances but a slow start, Test is a decent watch, earning a 3/5 rating.
