Baapu Movie Review,Rating
Baapu Movie Review: The film Baapu features senior actor Brahmaji in the lead role. Directed by Dayakar Reddy under the Comrade Film Factory banner, the movie stars Aamani, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sudhakar Reddy, Avasarala Srinivas, Gangavva, and Mani in key roles. Baapu is set to release in theaters on February 21, and special premiere shows have already been screened multiple times.
Technical Aspects: The cinematography and visuals are impressive, with real village locations effectively capturing the Telangana rural essence. However, the background music is a major drawback. It is unclear why the director and music composer chose a horror-style background score for this story. The songs are average. Although the film is based on a strong concept, the emotional depth was lost due to the initial negative tone and later comedic approach. The dialogues could have been more refined for better impact. In terms of production, sufficient budget was spent to maintain good quality.
Overall: Baapu narrates the story of a family that plans to kill their elderly member to solve their financial troubles, leading to a mix of comedy and emotions. The execution, however, has its flaws. The film deserves a rating of 2.5/5.
